Green Alternatives Laptop Lunch Review

Photobucket

"Green Alternatives...The Earth-Friendly General Store"...that might seem to say it all, but somehow, it doesn't. GA has pretty much everything one could want, in an environmentally-friendly format. From - I couldn't believe it - reclaimed golf balls, to an organic travel kit, these guys are serious about their recycling. And everything looks quality (even the golf balls).

So we gave our reviewer, Katie a Laptop Lunch Bento Box Set for her to scrutinise and analyse under her withering gaze...

Let's see how it stood up!

When I opened up the Bento Box Set, I didn't know what to think of it. Is it a lunchbox? An alternative to ziplock baggies? A lunch tray? Well, come to find out, it's all of the above. It contains separate plastic containers inside for your food, and includes a stainless steel fork and spoon. The outer box holds all the little plastic containers inside, which in turn can be used as a tray to eat your lunch.

It is definitely different, and you have to read the instructions in order to be able to close the lid on the box. You have to arrange the inner containers a certain way, and if you don't, well...let's just say the floor will become your new lunch tray. It might be hard for a young child to remember exactly how those inner containers should be placed, but an older child should have no problems.

It cleans up easily, seems quite durable, and most of all it is earth friendly. No having to use those disposable ziplock baggies or brown paper bags. Overall, I say it is a pretty good product.
