My boyfriend and I worked together. One of the supervisors had gotten onto me for something that I hadn't done and I was very upset. The next day he had a box with my name it at the time clock. I opened it up and it was the cutest softest teddy bear I ever saw. I didn't even see that his ribbon on his neck had a ring on it.

Oh gosh, I am not married to my boyfriend, though we have been together for 16 years!

He got down on one knee in the bedroom during a fight and proposed with a 1 1/2 ct diamond

We met after I got out of the army at a mutual friend's house on "Sweetest Day" (a Hallmark Holiday). I lived 3 hours away, so I could only see her on weekends. I moved up to her town a couple months later and started dating her. After a month together, I knew she was the one. I proposed on a whim while making her breakfast one morning. I fashioned a bread-tie into a make-shift ring, turned around and asked her marry me. We eloped 2 weeks later on Valentine's Day. By then I had purchased a real engagement ring and a matching wedding band set. This Valentine's Day is our 18th Anniversary, and we are still very much in love!
