Update: THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!
Update: I can't believe you people do all that recycling. Y'all have put me to shame! - Mr Couch
See that countdown up there? It's ticking. Not just for the Back to School Thingy, but for, you know, actually getting the kids back to school.

Now, the good people at ReBinder know this. They're plugged in to the green nation. And they also know that you're sending kids back to school soon, and they'll use a lot of paper products. So, whaddaya know! They've decided to help you out.
ReBinder is giving away one of their Back to School Kits, valued at $44.99, which includes:

The ways we help the environment are turn off unnecessary lights, watch our water usage, and "bundle" errands together for using the least amount of gas.

At my house, which is VERY active, I have 6 sons and a husband, who is a really BIG kid. We try different things to help the environment. We save all of our pop cans and when we have a car load or two, we bring them to the recycling center. The kids are able to see the recycling center, they are aware that they have done something good for the environment, they are allowed to see that there is a monetary value as well to recycling pop can. With that money, they are allowed a treat and then the rest goes toward our vacation later on in the year. We only go to places we can afford from our savings.
Over the last year, I've become increasingly diligent in my efforts to recycle, reuse and nurture nature. I don't throw jars away, I use the for storage. I don't throw old clothes away, I use them to make blankets and throws. I really cannot stand putting anything in the trash anymore!
I'm a blogger follower. That's me in lights up there. I kinda like talking to a brown couch.
We have a compost bin which not only has helped keep the garbage down, but also makes great fertilizer.

I've also cut back on my water usage by taking shorter showers and running my washing machine and dishwasher on more efficient settings. And I've started walking and biking a lot more than I used to to cut back on my fuel usage. I hope all of these small measures add up to reduce the size of my carbon footprint.
